The prompter shows up in my screen share

Windows hides it from capture on Windows 10 version 2004 or later. Turn on Hide from screen share in the settings panel, and share a window or the full screen as usual.

How do I control it during a call?

Use the global shortcuts shown in Settings; presentation remotes that send PageUp/PageDown work too. Esc stops reading.

Can I click through the reading band?

Yes: turn on Click-through while reading. The Lock shortcut turns it off again.

How do pauses work?

Insert a pause marker. [PAUSE 2s] waits two seconds; [PAUSE] waits until you press Space.

Where are my scripts?

On your computer only, in the app's data folder. Nothing is uploaded.
